Cracker Barrel shuttered four restaurants in April: Sacramento, California; Santa Maria, California; Medford, Oregon; and Columbia, South Carolina.
Applebee's has had multiple closures in recent years, shuttering over 300 stores since 2017. Applebee's closed 46 locations last year, and it's closing even more this year.

Mod Pizza, a fast-casual restaurant franchise with 27 locations in 11 states and the District of Columbia, will close in March 2024. The shutdown impacted restaurants in California, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, and Washington, D.C.
In February, this regional restaurant business closed eight locations in North and South Carolina. Six of the closures occurred in North Carolina, which now has four PDQ facilities. South Carolina no longer has PDQ stores.
